SUSHI

I don't know about anyone else who has visited Japan but we have found it a bit hard to find sushi. I guess in our little Western minds we were expecting little sushi bars around every corner like McDonalds in the States. It may be also because we are around base when we are looking for supper and the area around base caters to more of the single nightlife for the little airmen maybe? Anyhoo, we walked 20 minutes in the opposite way after getting off the train in search of sushi that was listed n a map NOT drawn to scale (it looked like it was only two blocks form the station, lol) We found the most amazing place of our dreams- a restaurant where all of the tables are placed around a conveyor belt with the sushi chefs making fresh sushi in the middle for all to see. *I apologize for picture quality- it was 8 pm before we were able to get a table and we were exhausted and soon after drunk off of the most amazing fresh melt in your mouth morsels ever! The best part- NOT ONE CALIFORNIA WUSSY ROLL!!!
