Showa Park

We went to the most amazing park we have ever seen today! I am secretly glad our trip got extended after finding this gem of a place because we wouyldn't have ever seen it had we flown out on time. It was originally built for the old Emperor and is now open to the public. Beautiful flowers, a lake with paddleboats and the biggest unique childrens area EVER! All five of us found the "little kid" inside and we enjoyed playing all day.

First the overlapping nets to climb and jump on.

Josh found out they make a nice hammock as long as there aren't any bouncing midgets in the area.

At the back of the park there were these big white bouncing things. I don't know what they were exactley- part trampoline, part balloon, part parachute thing? They were these massive white "clouds" filled with air and you could run and jump on them. We ALL had a blast!

There was also these humongous dragons made out of stone that the kids got to climb all over.

And the flowers!

The pretty bridge, my goofball kids (Brandon LOVES taking pictures... can you tell) and the first horse I have seen in Japan (can you tell that I am missing my ponies)
